The Jamaican American Bar Association, North East (JABA, NE), is the definitive and duly sanctioned professional organization, for the advancement of interests held by Jamaican-American attorneys here in the United States. First and foremost among these interests, is availing ourselves to our brothers and sisters of the Jamaican Diaspora Community.  Apart from unique immigration and naturalization issues, there are cultural considerations which require a level of empathy, attained only through our shared experiences.

The purpose of the Jamaican American Bar Association, North East is to serve the needs of Jamaican American attorneys, law students and community by coordinating the development of educational scholarships, mentoring, career assistance for its members, provide for a legal defense fund and service to the Jamaican American Community.
